Not plain iron, of course, or it'd rust/oxidize even worse than pennies I assume.  Probably plated like most modern coins.

> Not playing with a jar full of pennies like they're GP
> Not sleeping on coins to assert your financial stability

I'm not dragonkin but some things are just fun
The Spartans soaked their iron coins in vinegar to make them useless as iron, that way no one would hoard them in order to make anything useful out of it. Sleeping on pure coins sounds like a bad idea cause they'd move around everywhere, so you'd want to have neat stacks and fix them in place. I think the real neat trick would be to bullet proof your clothes with coins, to make cloaks and sleeping covers out of coins, sewing them together or into traditional textiles. I suppose it is rather a pity that coin currencies do not have more value in these inflationary economies. Paying with coins is always great, and there's nothing like having gorillions of money coins to actually feel like money. Even if it's just worth a dinner.

Now the real patrician form of currency is metal plated human bones. People won't want to hoard it, if they do, banks and funeral services will be the same thing, serving their clients from the back of giant reliquaries carved into pyramids, and the supply is based on the human population.

I used to think this was literally made of coins.  It was fey nonsense, I don't even blame that on me being a child.

But the coins go under the bedsheet, obviously.
Though if some coins fall out of a pocket and you wake up to find them stuck to you, that's kinda super draconic eeee~

Was playing Skyrim, chatting away with the jarl in Falksreath. Popped outside and was attacked by a dragon.

Guards all helped me out, then one of them asked if I saw a dog. I’m like nah bro, what kind of dog? And he’s all blacksmith wanted to find it, offering a reward likes. So I chat to him about it, get some cash and some meat for the dog.

Anyway, I turn round to see what must be the entire town of 7 people or something in a line looking at this dragon skeleton (I absorbed it’s powers, see) and then I chat to them each in turn to see if anything interesting was to be said.

Some dude: I can’t believe it!
Some woman: is that a dragon?
Guard: is it really dead then?
Shopkeeper: is it really dead then?
Guard: is it really dead then?
Guard: is it really dead then?
Guard: no lollygaggin’

EDIT to prevent double-posting: I ended up on the subreddit for SS13 during some aimless browsing, and there was an advertisement disguised as one of the subreddit's sticky threads:

"There's no shame in seeking help: 5000 trained psychiatric professionals online now! You're worth it."

Pikasprey (guy who does Pokemon LPs and analysis of early-gen mechanics) LP'd some Weaboo Garbage (his words).
Including a very silly SFW "yaoi" "dating sim".
It's intentionally dumb but by the end even Pikasprey is giggling X3
(lots worse games in that video, I timestamped to the good one)

I found the comic book one funny. Looks like Pretty Boy possesses the Tohth stand.

No idea if it will in any way be good, but it made me think about Bill and Ted, and that makes me giggle.
