I think that is making me sad in so many ways.  But I sorta hate the CDC anyways, so why am I surprised?
Hopefully, I'll someday get to attempt to explain to my grandchildren why I don't trust the CDC in the same way that my generation's grandparents had to explain why they don't trust the government.

I do not trust them since that zombie apocalipse that went so horrible. They failed to warn all the population was infected but in a non-mortal way and also ran on diesel powerplants! Pfff.. they should have had fusion or at least fision.

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?
My ship exploded midflight, but all the shrapnel totally landed on Alpha Centauri before anyone else did.  Bow before me world leaders!

Reminded of the existence of Bagdemagus. I can now no longer envision a scene involving merlin that doesn't have this guy coming from the rafters with a linen sack. Even when they're outside.

Bagging maguses is all bagdemagus does, and in doing so they're living their best life.
I can also recommend 'Bored of the Rings', by Henry N. Beard and Douglas C. Kenny of the Harvard Lampoon (1969)

Of all the things in the New Years and Xmas give-away, there was one game that is apparently barred from even looking at the store page in China.

What could this subversive and destructive game be?

That's right - Eastside Hockey Manager.

Ah, that must be why I was instinctively drawn to it!

I'm going to guess that its publisher SEGA is on the Naughty List.
EDIT: I'm betting that its because of how China is depicted as a Hockey Team, in some way or fashion.
Putting China's stuff in your game without their approval can get you on their Naughty List.  I've seen Paradox studios have issues on that front with their games.

EDIT2: Heh, I found it!  I'd wager SEGA is banned for FAILING to include China and having the AUDACITY to label their League that only includes Japan labelled "Asian League".  I'm pretty sure I've seen China come down hard on that sort of thing, which although I loathe censorship, must acknowledge is a bit offensive.
But hey, SEGA.

More likely the other way - some games don't make themselves available in China because there's a lot of cheating and bots from our IP addresses. Steam just says 'this game is unavailable in your area'

Well, at least you got me to boot it up tonight, so thanks!

You might be right: The game has some online features.

I have a feeling it would be pretty nasty, as it's made of the worst tasting bit.

Quote from: The First Order, chapter 29
This time, Xiaoyu waited for the needle to cool down before she used it to suture the wound. But just as she was about to use it, she had a dilemma. “Xiaosu, should I administer the anesthetic inside or outside the wound?”

They had never used anesthetics before, so Xiaoyu was wondering whether the anesthetic would be more effective if it was administered into the wound.

Ren Xiaosu was taken aback. He had also not thought about it before. “I’m not sure.”

The man beside them listened to their conversation and nearly pissed his pants. “So you’ve never used anesthetics before? Do you even know how to treat wounds in the first place?”

The man had heard before that Ren Xiaosu could treat wounds. Coupled with Ren Xiaosu’s good reputation in town, he immediately thought of coming here to get himself looked at.

However, it didn’t seem like that was the case!

“So where should I administer it, Xiaosu?” Xiaoyu asked.

Ren Xiaosu saw the patient’s expression and gave it some thought. “Why don’t you administer it on his leg instead? Prevent him from running away afterwards.”

The patient was surprised.
