((What do you others say? We can afford to lose 20 tons of supplies, but I suspect a trick. Should we accept their "offer" or do something else? I can think of ways to trick them instead and give them the supplies without risking taking them on board...))

((I'd suggest IC discussion about it. Personally I don't want to just give up supplies.))

OH OH, ME, MEMEMEMMEME.
Pretend you are a slaver ship and keep talking about more and more disgusting things until they think that all the valuables you have are human resources!
They won't shoot you because of the 10000 lives on their minds!

((Well, we can't really attack them without risking damage, and you just heard they have morals so they wouldn't kill you and 10000 other people and holy shit my brain just caught up with what I just proposed.))

((And plus, as horrible as it sounds, there will be minimal long term repercussions to that plan, they aren't going to tell anyone that story, they'll just back off and forget about it, even if they do blabber they are still pirates and who or what is going to believe them? It sounds bad, but it's nothing horrible, a bit of a gamble, yes, but we just saw the morals those guys have and even if you don't use this plan good luck with whipping up that violent necrosis explosive you guys should have lying around.
They won't kill us, a couple pirates might think worse of us, but we just need to get past them first, and then be prepared for future problems later.))

((Actually, what if we cut the creepy stuff and instead just refuse to give them the supplies, if they're not going to shoot us anyway? Furthermore, any weapons our ship may have will probably be revealed next turn. What if we have antimatter torpedoes or the like?))

((Look at what they say, they say 'so we can keep our hands clean and our consciousnesses clean' but they are still pirates, they aren't gonna back down because we politely refused, or...
You know what? While these guys are still pirates, they are smart, so just tell them what your ships purpose is, to further the human race, you can just say that.))

((We don't have to kill them. We just have to pack enough firepower to intimidate them, if we're going that way. How about we'll wait until I get the system panel up to see what we can do?))

((Yhea, do that before anything else, but won't it be a bit hard to convince them that no, even though your ep weapons are warmed up and ready to fire, I totally can outgun you before you blast us to smithereens.
But the GM wouldn't end the adventure so carelessly, wouldn't he?))
