moral gaurdians finding out about dwarf fortress

I think Fox news ran a story about LCS once back around the time of people debating whether video games are an art form. If I'm remembering correctly for some reason they didn't like it. Goodluck finding it with a google search.

One game's reputation is hard to control. Spending over 10 years working on one, you don't want it to derail.

There is nothing to outwardly vulgar to dwarf besides its violence an gore which is a function of the damage system and the ability for children to die but that is a function of the anyone can die way the game works. But that is not likely what the would bring up if they wanted to raise a media uproar. They would take one look at the forums and the concept of !!FUN!! and holler from the rooftops that dwarf fortress will turn you a torturing genocidal Machiavellian stalin/hitler who gets their kicks from Being a ruler of communist compound of horrific violence and death, systematic child abuse to make super soldiers, slaughtering the children of sapient beings for their bones, performing acts against nature and life in general, making horrific dystopic hellholes, and just being a all round bad person who does bad things.
