I've been bad. I'll try to be better.

Which way I fly is Hell; myself am Hell;

Still threatening to devour me opens wide,
To which the Hell I suffer seems a Heaven.

Apologies for the delay. I usually don't check that the turns you send in are valid until I've received them all. So when one or more of those happen to be bad for whatever reason, we end up waiting a day or so extra for me to get valid turn file(s).

I may or may not fix this behaviour on my part, not that it's that common to begin with. I think this is the second or third such issue we've had all game.

Sorry for the holdup- there are issues with the turn files I've been sending in. Should be able to resolve it when I get home in ~9 hours.

Another 3 couriers soliciting donations, to add to the two last term. Additionally, my empty vaults were graced with two separate incursions. Is my victory such a bad thing for all to find it disagrees with them?

Durus, your mother is chaste and you're a good person.

How dare you. My mother spawned countless bastards, and I personally have devoured the souls of untold thousands of mortals!

Apologies, all; I appear to have left my last turn languishing in my email "drafts" folder for the last four days while remaining quite thoroughly convinced I'd sent it...

It feels as if multiple people are very gently laying a noose around my neck.

A question regarding game mechanics:
What happens to those legions that require upkeep when they're not paid for? Do they go back to the bazaar, are shuffled back to the legion pool from which they may be drawn again later, or are discarded permanently?
Or that Devourer guy - can you steal it from somebody else by stealing the statuettes and performing summoning ritual while the previous owner still controls it?

Not sure of the first, but I believe that resummoning the devourer does change the ownership of the current existing legion.

I think it's just the infernal bureaucracy working as intended, smothering us all with its etenally unrolling red tape.
