Housemate and I rescued this little guy a couple weeks ago.  He survived for 6 months around the neighborhood and by the creek, including through winter snows!  He's a little skittish as a result, often diving under straw or his plastic "tower" (a bucket with a hole in) but then he recognizes us and hops around squealing for carrots.  We named him Merlin!

Spotted a lizard sunbathing on a piece of concrete today. Sadly I couldn't get close enough to take any pictures, but it sure looked cute.
