Kelethor Gaming, a forum gaming community!
« on: July 29, 2014, 05:34:44 am »

Howdy everyone! So, I've decided to set up a forum focused around forum gaming, forum gamers
and more forum gaming. The forum is now up and ready for fine adventurers such as yourselves!
It's all still a bit beta, some of the graphics needs fixing up, but it's completely accessible and usable.

Well, it seems... interesting, I suppose?
Personally I'm quite comfortable sitting here on Bay12 for all my forum gaming needs, as well as various other discussions, so I'm probably not the target audience for the "focus that into one central hub" idea. :P Still, I wish you good luck with meeting your goal.
I don't have my usual amount of spare funds at the moment, but if my financial situation takes a turn for the better in the next 19 days I might just contribute a pound or two.

Aren't there plenty of free or cheap forum licenses out there anyway?

This is utterly ridiculous and insane and not for a moment do I think this would ever go anywhere.

...

Regardless, I am still immensely curious as to what exactly would happen if it were a thing. Good luck with your project!

I'm 99% sure I've got the minimum backing for this. Turns out one of the big donors is a friend of mine, who is willing to pay for the initial year's hosting - tomorrow. Hold onto your genitalia fibres, we're launching soon.

No. This is a common reason as to why I don't have any friends.

Ok so, he's more of an associate of the arts I knew a few years ago who I refound.

Do online people even count as friends? e-friends, or something, right?

Well, we're now up and live! One of the backers gave us an early out-of-kickstarter-donation, which has allowed me to afford the webhosting. Any further backing will go towards future webhosting costs and more importantly, advertising.

Well, I grabbed my username. Can't have anyone taking it, whether I end up frequenting the forum or not! :P

Edit: I'm not exactly sure which category RTDs would fall under. Roleplay Gaming, I guess?

It would appear that I cannot activate my account, since the activation email has yet to be sent.

^^I got mine just fine.

Is it a good idea to have a section for flaming and hate? Isn't that what moderators are for?

EDIT: Also, with regard to the actual Forum Gaming section, there might be a few too many sections. A lot of these areas fall onto one another. For example: roleplaying could be a large part of any of the other sections you've got laid out. It all seems a bit confusing.
