I am a Lord... Now what?
« on: July 30, 2014, 03:54:09 pm »

Right, first of all i wanted to try "Claim Site for yourself" and i killed the Lord (by accident) now it says i am Lord and Ruler of the Land.

I was wondering what do i do now? i have looked on the wiki but nothing turned up. can i send armies to kill people? etc.

Well, you can, but you'd eventually run out of citizens. Plus, I've fiund that if you claim a site and then leave ut for any reason, the game will say you've started wandering the wilds again and decide you've abdicated.

Yeah, there's pretty much nothing you can do of any real value. But at least the system is there for future additions.

What I do when I become a Lord:

1. Kill occupying Lord and claim site (usually a Necromancer tower)

2. Harass passerby adventurers or whatever on how I don't appreciate them trodding around on my necromantic lawn.

3. Move stuff around in the tower, because furniture.

4. Leave the site and brag to people about my well furnished Tower so that I can feel VERY important.

You realize that the penalty for acting like a snooty noble is death, right?

It is sad, but not expected.

Only an Overseer can enforce that law.

Oh c'mon, if anything I'm more like an old man Necromancer who doesn't agree with the cultural norms of young adventurers.

I think if you become lord and you make some locals hearthpersons and leave them there you won't instantly abdicate your Lordship.

Hm, have you considered murder?  It's either that or letting it go.
