So, I got started playing the Space Engineers server a bit with Ruskin. I don't know if it's just the game updates, but it feels like it runs smoother than any server I've been on in a while. Generally, it was good. Get in here!

Server is pretty much guaranteed to be up during the hours I listed on my regularly updated post.
Sorry for not posting them earlier. Posted in another forum, but not over here.

I put the Server Info post I'm using in my sig.
Anytime I post something about an update to the server, safe to assume that the post referenced has been updated, and the info is there.

So, Today (and also in the past, and probably future) we're playing a bit of Empires, the sourcemod FPS/RTS hybrid. It supports battles of up to 40 players (they're only that busy on weekend nights), and features a commander who can place buildings throughout the map and research technology on a tech tree (mostly for making tanks). It's rather a lot of fun. It's free of course, so maybe you guys should try it out.

If you do play, be absolutely sure to read the Quickstart Guide so you have a basic idea of what's going on. Once you've read that and maybe played a little bit, the full manual is a useful read as well.

Seconding the entertainment value of Empires.
The community regulars over there are a good bit rougher around the edges than over here, but still better than your usual FPS Call of Bros:Modern Brofare, or M$Live's underaged sailors.
