History:Ochryke - a planet split in half by a towering wall of junk, holding back the flood of sentient, carnivorous plant life from the dusty junkyard in which the humans lived. This is one of those places where the scum of the universe get exiled to, when various governments just want them out of their hair. Of course, such a group wasn't without it's talents, and as such some... Less reputable groups from elsewhere managed to bring in supplies from other places, and over time built as acceptable an [Insert Term For Place Where Ships Would Leave Here] as they could! and in exchange for the people of Ochryke's services brought in food, animals, and the like. While many that ended up here were little better than monsters you would find in fiction, several were trying to do the right things in the wrong manner, and managed to live together without too many problems. Lily's parents were two of such people, and this is where her story begins.
Growing up, Lily didn't get to interact with many other children - those that she stayed around happened to be her siblings. While, as a child, she never understood WHY her family made explosives - as she would learn later, it was because the various gangs and clans on the planet relied on them, and left them alone in exchange - she did her best to help out. Sure, there were accidents - both her and her sister Marie have large burn scars on their backs from an early detonation - but for the most part she ended up doing well.
Of course, when a group of sick, cannibalistic freaks got their own guy that was roughly as good, they were no longer willing to let Lily and her family supply goods to their rivals, and intended to kill them. When she caught wind of this, she did the only thing she could think of at the time - after passing her back and forth like some sort of toy, they agreed to her offer - after all, having two people working for them was better than one. While she did her job damn well for several months, they never treated her any better. Eventually, she grew the figurative cajones to leave - which was a huge mistake. Returning home one day, she found her family strung up in the yard - all but Marie. Having a pretty good idea of exactly who did this, she took her brother's motorcycle that he kept hidden in a nearby cave and set out to systematically kill as many as she could - they weren't the brightest, as while they knew where her family lived to kill them, she knew where many of theirs were from her time with them.
While she never managed to kill Markus, and she barely put a dent in their numbers, she eventually decided that it was pointless to get herself killed over this - so, picking through the belongings of the last few she killed, she took what she could get money from, as well as the last of her explosives, and bought a ticket out of there - and this is how she ended up at the bar.
Appearance:
This darkly tanned, 5' 4" woman keeps her long hair in a braid reaching her hips, which, whilst normally light brown, is currently dyed a dark purple. With a large scar down the left side of her face, running from her hairline to just above her mouth, this one-eyed dame looks as though she means business - and even wears a grey suit, with matching pants, black leather shoes, a black tie and white undershirt. The large scar from a major burn earlier in her life, whilst not normally visible, takes up much of her back and part of her right triceps. Her remaining eye is grey, and is almost always half closed in a look of what could either be disdain or sleepiness. She also seems to smell faintly of cigar smoke.

Description: No one knows what H really is. H appears to wear a minimal, dark grey pressurized suit of some kind, completely obscuring all features. H could be a robot and that's his outer shell, but no one really knows. H appears human, or at least humanoid in outline, but has been observed moving in ways that probably aren't possible with a human skeletal structure. H never speaks, but has somehow wound up in the mercenary pirate business. People pay H and tell H what they want done. If they pay is what H considers adequate, H does as asked. If its not enough, H simply ignores the request. No one knows what H does with H's money. No one really cares.

Race: Cralozen
Appearance and History: A thin (glowing in the dark kind of) luminous grey three-fingered creature with no hair to speak about and a human-like head with no nose and two nostrils, 7-feet tall, slightly above average speed and intelligence, has extensive scientific and medical knowledge, has a cold personality, slight telepathy, wears a lab-coat with nothing else,(the Cralozen have no "organs" so to speak of, so they use cloning and don't mind public exposure,) upon leaving his highly religious homeworld for various reasons (this was done 2 days ago), he decided to become a scientist and doctor to find ways to increase his telepathy,doesn't like needless murder or murder in general, is in space bar for money.

Race: Pasik (spacefaring hairy lizards with a reversed digestive system)
Gender: Male
Age: 73
Description thing: Standing about five and a half feet tall with broad arms, thick grey scales and jagged spines growing in ridges from his head and shoulders, this humanoid, faintly reptilian lizard smells like shit. Mainly because his species eat with their butts and poop out the mouth, which wins them few friends amongst other sentient races.
Perhaps for this reason the Pasik are rather sour, especially when it comes to inter-species interactions.
They inject far too many drugs, pick fights with both people and walls, and find nothing funnier than a bloody dismemberment. Still, with their thick scaly hides and lack of fear they do make good mercenaries.
Wokha is more calm and sentimental than most of his kind, not that that's saying much.
He enjoys spicy cook-outs, slapstick comedy and long romantic walks on the asteroid belt.

History: After being born on his home planet, captured by poachers who intended to melt him down for materials, escaping, and having lots of other stupid "Adventures", Ferrous intended to simply settle down into a simple life on a space station. He entered a tavern to drink, saw a group of people running off to be pirates and steal spaceships, and he simply couldn't resist. After decimating a police officer, he joined their unmerry crew as an Engineer!
Appearance: Effectively, think the Rock species from FTL, but think they're made of iron. Now they move a slight bit faster. Now they have a never-ending desire to murder anything that gets in their way. Now they can't talk, either. Yippee!

Name: Dr. Richard O'Kane

History: a former chief technical consultant on the Star Clearance program of old, Dr. O'Kane made a killing, both figuratively and literally, off blowing up troublesome stars with advanced (well, not so much anymore, obviously) technology, gaining a pension to practically last him a lifetime as well as a free pass on life extension procedures to make that lifetime as long as humanly possible, which by this time is rather long indeed. And though he's not worked in thermostellar engineering for over twenty years due to the declaration on the part of EarthGov that blowing up stars is cruel, unusual and unnecessary, no matter the aesthetic and other benefits thousands of years down the line, and he really does miss the job terribly. Pretty much all he's been doing the past ten years is going over his secret schematics, plotting how to build bigger and better thermostellar devices, how to cause more interesting stellar after-formations, ideas for Dyson spheres that could be built around specifically blown-up stars and more. Eventually he just couldn't take it, and moved out to seek a ship to offer his expertise to - surely they could see the benefit in having a guy who could potentially build an honest-to-God star bomb, right? Just think of the ransoms they could get!
Appearance: looks about sixty in human terms due to life extension and improvement treatments, all on EarthGov's dime, he might add, wears a strange sweater, khakis and dress shoes as a general rule, wears contact lenses and has an honest face. Hair is graying, since he's missed his latest renewal procedure, and he has a wizened look to him in general, with subtle hints of excitement and mania at this new life he's throwing himself into.
Inventory: a 20-year-old issue of Thermostellar Quarterly in which he keeps a set of hand-drawn schematics of thermostellar devices, a platinum EarthGov VIP credit card that should work for a few weeks before they realize he's fled and joined up with space pirates, clothes, a personal ZY-53 plasma pistol (quite old, but kept in pristine condition by its fastidious owner) kept in a concealed holster.
Abilities and stuff: foremost expert at building and operating thermostellar devices, highly competent astrophysicist, slightly advanced age, life extension mania.

History: An engineer who, on a pilgrimage to the Entirian homeworld, accidentally described the entire Eastern Scout's, damaging thousands of ships. On the run, he joined this pirate crew as the CE.
Appearance: A tall, blond man, covered in grease. Wears a trenchcoat when he isn't wearing work clothes.
