Praise Grisha5!

In serious mode, we have to lock it. It's too volatile, it'll just come back if we try to revive it.

I think that it's Roll to Dodge time, though.

Volatile in what way? If you want volatile you poke into the politics threads. This ain't volatile. As someone who has been here far longer than you have, sit down and let the people have their sillies. The explosion posts were better than that.

What I meant was that even though the fad eventually basically died, it came back 3 days later.

Meh, whatever.

Honestly, though, as much fun as this is, we're probably going to forget all about this thread in a month, if not sooner. Hell, I'm willing to bet that none of us will even remember who grisha5 is in that time, unless he starts posting a lot, makes a big innovation in DF, or something along those lines. No offence, grisha5, but such is the nature of the internet. It's not as bad on Bay12, but the collective ADD is still there.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

To forget, we must remember. To move on, we must dwell. To defeat, we must surrender.

To kill, we must die.

We shall carve the words of grisha 5 into stone tablets so that they shall forever be remembered. And they shall be known as the grisha 5 commandments!

I think you guys underestimate Bay12's affinity for inside jokes.

I found a photo of grisha5 on deviantart. He's a rather attractive fellow.

I think "forget" was the wrong word. It's more like not caring about it nearly as much. The 'Scans are far from forgotten, they're just largely ignored. We don't still go about celebrating Cacame; we remember it's a thing that happened, chuckle a little at the silly elf playing dwarvern badass, the move on. We don't constantly bring up Boatmurdered. Though it's still around, It Was Inevitable and It Was Terrifying has largely died. I suspect the same will happen to grisha5. It might not be forgotten, and it might even still be a well-known thing here in the lower boards for a considerable amount of time. But alas, my fellow grisha5ers, I fear that it's glory days have long since gone, and shall not return.

On a less serious note,
To forget, we must remember. To move on, we must dwell. To defeat, we must surrender.

To kill, we must die.
