Dammit. Why does somebody drop out at some point in every game I run?

Anyway, you backtrack past the recursive room, opting to leave the chest for later. You take the other way past the original T-intersection.

You find another stone door. This one, thankfully, is completely unlocked, judging by the fact it swings open a touch when prodded.

Several Eldritch Blasts later, there is a pile of woodchips instead of a door. There is a corridor after it that quickly turns out of sight.
