Unlike this Zoe individual, TheDarklingWolf and most of the Cataclysm:DDA team, was being legitimately harassed at some points by Lazycat, idiots from Something Awful and other miscellaneous dunderheads, with Lazycat going to comical lengths at badgering people.
The Wolf didn't get political about it, he laughed it off, reveled in the (rapidly turned positive, since he was willing to put up with their bullshit) attention 4chan, namely /rlg/ gave him, and simply pursued development, until he faded off to sink hundreds of hours into progression-based games.
That's actually a whole lot better, thank you, I honestly had no idea what you were trying to say before. I won't speak for Wolf, though I didn't get the feeling he "reveled" in anything here. Especially since he's here, but for my own part I put a lot of effort into putting on a good face, but to be honest it was an
incredibly stressful time and the whole situation had lots of people on edge for a while. And that was with only one persistent harasser and a few assholes taking pot shots, and the whole way through was actually almost completely devoid of any sort of personal harassment. It was also, surprisingly (to me) generally free of any sort of
personal harassment (generally), and as bad as it got at times I'm actually really happy about that.
To the extent they were even comparable, we really were a lot more like the girl in this situation than anyone else - hell, consider one of the most common refrains I heard was
literally that we were intentionally generating controversy to raise money for the Kickstarter and all sorts of bullshit about how we were terrible for getting money over our
free game.

As an aside, I like how the title is basically click bait.
One could even say it's a click whore or a cursor slut.
