I've also heard theories that the puppet is the killer, and was haunted before the events of either game. I personally think the puppet is completely unrelated to the Freddy's animatronics, since it has no endoskeleton and doesn't look anything like the others; even Balloon Boy has some similarities to the 2.0 series.

I haven't heard any theories/interpretations about the cutscenes between nights yet. Those were the parts I found the most interesting and I can't make heads or tails of them; what really boggles me is that people describe Bonnie and Chica as looking worried when they're just slightly turned towards you.

Well, it's highly unlikely that the freak did kill anybody itself, but the SAVETHEM and HELPTHEM minigames do make clear that it did... something to them. Whether it was malicious or benign is unknown, but I (and probably everybody else too) lean towards the former because fuck that thing.

So if the Puppet is haunted by somebody else or just sentient all on its own, then GIVE LIFE shows four kids haunting the animatronics, leaving somebody else to inhabit Golden Freddy in the original game. Maybe whatever was in the Puppet jumped ship to Golden Freddy after FNAF2? It'd be hard for the puppet to kill you while GF is in your office on the Sixth or Custom Nights, since both of them act so quickly, which means the puppet-entity could be switching between the two as the night went on.

Does anyone have any theories about the endoskeleton that walks around without a suit? I've heard you can see it in the gift corner, but it doesn't try to attack you.

It sometimes crawls into one of the vents and by doing so prevents the other, actually murderous animatronics, from reaching the office that way. Where I'm concerned, it's the player's best bro.

Perhaps it's on your side because it's been ostracized by the other animatronics? That makes sense, considering its the only one without a costume.

Oh yeah, the purple guy in the SAVETHEM minigame looks different from the one in the SAVEHIM and Foxy minigames, iirc. This may imply that they're actually two different people, but the animatronics can't tell them apart.

The guard uniform is probably purple.

Maybe the day-guard's uniform is purple? To help make his outfit more kid friendly?

Let's theorize that the day guard was the killer, that would explain Night 5's message (No Previous Employees Lockdown and the day guard position suddenly opening). Moreover, it would also explain their "tampering" on Night 4's message: "aggressiveness towards staff" would have been caused by this. And "staring at adults" could be them attempting to match their faces to anything in their criminal databases.

The minigames could be the animatronic's versions of "trauma". They're there to protect the kids, but ultimately fail to "SAVE THEM"; which causes them to become increasingly aggressive over time as more murders occur. The puppet is the one that's haunted, and reanimates the older suits in an attempt to get more eyes out or "GIVE LIFE" to the dead children by putting their souls into the older animatronics (Hence, the GIVE GIFTS/LIFE minigame). The day-guard could be the same person in the "SAVE HIM" minigame, but wouldn't be wearing the purple suit, because he doesn't need to wear it.

Of course, this is all just speculation.

Edit: Let's take it further and say Jeremy was the victim of the "Bite of '87", as after Night 6 he took up the day position and was told he had to "Stay near the animatronics and make sure they don't hurt anyone". The animatronics would have mistaken him in the day-guard's uniform and attacked him, breaking their kid-friendly facade in their desperate attempts to protect them.

This also fits in with the Custom Night ending, Fired "First day on the Job? Really?". Jeremy would be hospitalized or in a coma, so they brought Fitz in, and he couldn't resist fooling around with the AI controls.

Re-edit: On second thought, they brought in the new guy as Jeremy was moved to day shift, so it could have just as easily been the former day-guard that got bitten. He might have come back in revenge/Psycopathy and got bitten for his troubles.

Yeah, it's implied that Jeremy either gets bitten or arrested for the murders. But either way Fritz takes over because Jerm took over day shift.

Ok so i guess i have to make a theory now...

Have some points in no particular order:

1 - The new animotronics are not haunted but were programmed to protect children and likely additionally compelled by the puppet (clearly magical or possesed but likely benign just percieving the player character as evil and acting accordingly).

2 - The old animotronics were magical/possesed to begin with as they come from the old family diner meaning they might have a history of their own there as well (most likely will be told in FNaF3) so there is potential here that the entire story will be turned upside down if the 4 animotronics got possesed back then and the minigame events happened at the diner (note thet there are no new animotronics there and freddy gives away cake to children instead of the more common at pizza joints pizzas).
If not then why do they have a history of being "twitchy" and still coming for you after most of their parts were used for the new animotronics.

3 - The bite of 87 was the work of one of the new animotronics since the old ones were not in use. This explains why the new ones got scrapped and old ones were repaired and had their roaming mode disabled during the day for safety reasons.

4 - The killer was obviously an adult so the puppet rigged the new animotronics to be extra sensitive and scan adults in the pizzeria more then they can process without "staring" as they search the database for positives (this was also likely the reason for the bite when they finally got a positive and were set to be hyperaggressive by the puppet that wanted to protect the childrenat all costs.

5 - The visions you get at the end of various days shows Bonnie Chika and Freddy from Freddies perspective. note that they are all whole and undamaged hinting it that the puppet tampered with them back at the diner (likely giving them life)... again far before the 4 kids got killed unless... the 4 kids might have been killed and stuffed back at the diner since phone guy remarks that the old characters smell bad.

6 - The guard was likely the killer but it's not sure who was the guard that did it since it might have happened back at the diner and the vengeful puppet just settles for killing any guard it can seeing them as evil but at the same time tries to not scare children (it likely likes kids a lot considering it's at the game corner giving away gifts) so it only attacks during the night UNLESS it thinks a child is in direct danger at the hand of a guard/adult whitch might have caused the bite of 87.

7 - The puppet is likely posessed by the kid that got killed in front of the diner and tries to help/save other kids.

Adding to point 3, the Mangle probably didn't cause the Bite, because then only she would have been scrapped.

Also it wouldn't surprise me if the crying kid in the Foxy minigame was the one possessing G.Freddy. One out of five being different and all that.

One out of five being different? Let me quickly cook up some zany theory connecting this to OFF.

Well i actually thing that kid that got killed in front of the diner in freddyies minigame was both raped and killed since it cries more after death hinting that it might be "dead inside" or had an especially traumatic death. It's soul/trauma might have possesed/gave life to the puppet that later started "saving and protecting" other children.
And guess which character cries?
Also the pile of junk animotronic was likely thrown away because it was FUBAR.

Nah, that makes more sense for BB. He literally spies on you every so often (If those eyes are his, anyway). The endoskeleton, as far as I've heard, is sort of useless for the purpose you're describing.
