Well now I can mow down the first few robots they send, assuming I can get some help with my aim *cough*SCOPE*cough*

((No really, I have a Heavies with the LMG, Heat ammo, and an accuracy boost of some type, and he alone took down 2 cyberdisks and a ?sectropoid? (the Grey's walker) over 2 turns))
I wish the shredder/Heat choice wasn't at the same tier, as that can be a hard decision. He's still not going to be all that great in most situations, but it's a big boost to heavy robotic missions.

Your lag looks exactly like it does when someone with a GFX card just powerful enough to run the game, runs a stream/screencap on top of that.
I'm guessing that you haven't changed out the card. So that means you've either got some serious fragmentation issues with the paging file, or you've got more running in the background than you thought. Be sure to check your Services, since that can get bloated over time without showing up in the Task Manager Process list.

I'm inclined to say it was a paging issue, but a power outage fixed everything, so... I have no idea.

How very odd.
Has that computer been running for weeks on end with a non-Linux OS?
Has it been on for days, and you been playing incomplete/beta/alpha games?
Both could be a source of gradual memory leak.

If neither apply, you might want to run some thorough scanning programs to find malware and spyware.

If character's are still available for being contributed.

Name: Unkown
Nickname: Mr. Monday
Desire to live: High (that is, the character's desire. My own, as the creator, would probably want him to die, but not pointlessly, and not purposefully being killed.)
Class Pref: The most basic class.
Gender: Male. Even if it means waiting a while, the character *has* to be male. It's the only thing that really matters outside of the name *edit* and nationality.
Nationality: England.

Basically all that matters is:

Character name: Mr. Monday.
Gender: Male. (I can't really see a female having that name.)
Nationality: England.

All the other attributes are up for you to decide what's best.
(I'm basically naming characters from the "Keys to the Kingdom" series. If you can roleplay a personality trait through the character's in-game actions, this one's defining characteristic would be best summed up by the word "Sloth".)

Ahhh~ She looked into your eyes,
And saw what laid beneath,
Don't try to save yourself,
The circle is complete.
