... Those last three updates does means that Adventure Mode will be playable again? Without, well, you know, everybody fleeing from fear for seeing a fly corpse?

In theory, yes. But there is no sure way to tell until the update is released. Chances are there will still be a slew of both new and old gameplay hampering bugs that will need resolving.
