Right, so a bunch of you guys just got woken out of stasis on a sleeper ship enroute to a far out new colony your corporation established.
Thing is, something is wrong with your AI, seriously wrong, because it steered you into a crash course with some unknown planet far, far away from the intended course, with no fuel to speak of at all, oh and the sleeper ship isn't designed to land on atmospheric planets, the bridge and the wake shift's cabins and the sleeper module are all re-entry shielded though, but all other parts are most likely going to break or break off in re-entry.

Ship AI: "Ship in suborbital trajectory with an unidentified object, please brace yourselves for a crash landing. Switching to manual control in 30 seconds."

Remember that you are basically colonists being shipped in tiny crates while in a chemically induced coma, so pick something that a colonist could use.
