TUTORIAL
Moveset! If you ever forget this, the Basic Moves are on page 2 of the handbook, which can always be found in my sig. You'll gain more moves as time goes on, but for now, here are the ones you need to know.
To use a move, just type it by name, and I'll roll it for you.
Avoid Harm
Whenever you're evading danger, this stat combines a dice roll and your Agility stat to get you out of harm's way.
Get Into Position
Using your maneuvering device, your Agility stat and a dice roll, try to get into position to attack a Titan.
Strike To Kill
To kill a Titan, you need to use your sword to strike the nape of the neck. By combining a dice roll, your Execution stat and your Titan-killing swords, strike quickly and valiantly.
A note about this move: Even the most successful rolls will not always kill a Titan. It might just damage it unless you have an Advantage (e.g. a successful Strike To Kill).
A note about this note: Yeah, my interpretation of this move works a bit differently from the way it does in the handbook. My way makes things easier, in my personal opinion.
Hand To Hand
There are some moments where Titans aren't the enemy- humans are. Combine your Execution stat with a dice roll to take the upper hand.
Assess The Situation
Sometimes, it's important to have all the facts. On Page 2 of the handbook is a list of questions you may choose from- but only if you can get a good grasp on the situation. Combine a good dice roll with your Awareness stat...And knowing is half the battle!
Keep Your Cool
On occasion, when things get really bad, you might start panicking. Combine a dice roll with your Discipline stat, and try not to freak out.
Desperate Rescue
If you see a close friend in the grip of a deadly Titan, how dedicated will you be? Will you try to save them at risk of your own life? If you're gutsy enough to try a Desperate Rescue, combine a dice roll with your Discipline stat and pray for a miracle. This technique has a very low survival rate.
Escape Death
This is it- you're trapped in the clutches of the monstrous Titans. It's the end for you...Or is it? Combine a dice roll with your Rage stat and fight. Fight for your life.
GARRISON
"Because the Garrison is such a large branch of the military, we assign cannon-mates. One person to load, the other to fire." Gregory explained. He began assigning two people to each cannon, reading off a long list.
"Clara, you're firing. Starn, you're loading."
He walked over to the cannon next to Clara and Starn's. the cannons were each spaced about twenty yards (or 18 meters if you aren't MURICAN) apart.
"Sean, you're loading. Michael, you're firing."
Gregory cleared his throat. "If you are a loader, don't feel like you are any less than your partner. Because if a Titan cannot be disposed by a cannon, it's your job to use the Maneuvering Gear to dispose of it. However, firing squad, if your partner needs help, it is your job to make sure they stay safe. When you aren't on cannon duty, you're policing the streets. Understood?"
SCOUTS
There were murmurs and shouts among the group as a few titans were spotted.
"Don't worry. Most of them are too tired to move." Tobias said to calm the crowd.
