From what I recall you guys have plans of going to Lanius as well to further research Nep. At least you did a month or so ago.

Actually, half giants are immune to charm person.

Charm person works on humanoids only, and half-giants are giant (psionic).

I'm sure Level 1 Commoner Ganron could handle Level ? and Level ? Half-Giants designed for an encounter with a group of 6 Level 5's. He's got this and will likely not be one shotted if Dereth loses.

Just in case you're interested, actual duels generally did not involve the seconds fighting each other at their peak of popularity. The seconds just determined the field of honor and made sure the weapons weren't rigged.

De Monterfort duels generally include seconds due to the sheer value they place on honor. It shows that you care enough to wager two people for the sake of one slight.

Also because I would prefer if this game wasn't comprised entirely of duels. It sorta skews the experience. If you guys are cool with it I am but... Just saying.

I'm not opposed to battles of honor either; I figure if things go south, then people outside the duel might start fighting, too.

Hmmm...so for purposes of Counter Charge, I'm guessing they only count as Medium Size? That's rather annoying.

And hey, I taught Ganron some of the basics of fighting. And if he/I win, he gets a shitton of experience. If he doesn't fight, then the opportunity to observe the battle should still teach him plenty.
