[100] The group, sensing that their power wasn't what it once was, quickly books it in the opposite direction. The trolls seem shocked at first considering how harshly you had attacked that you manage to gain a small head start. After an hour you realize that the trolls are no longer following you. Apparently they had set up a territory of some sort. Still... You each enjoy a brief respite. It's been a long time since you've been forced to flee but you've had enough brushes with death in the last week... At least it feels like it's only been a week.

Ganron gently sets Illandrial down but realizes that he's likely been awake for a while. Odd that he didn't say anything.

"So..." Zoe wheezed "What now?"

Deciding to take it easy the group refuses, outright, to try taking backwoods paths. Instead you find yourself on the Imperial Road which connects most of the major cities. Risk of detection is much higher but the odds of finding anyone who could defeat you outright is rather slim.
[+10]The next two days pass without incident providing plenty of opportunity for rest. Until around noon on the third day:
”Stand and deliver… Give us all yer gold and we’ll let ya pass.”
Five rather unseemly fellows appear to believe you are easy marks. Each carry a roughly hewn wooden shield [you believe one of them used to be part of a table] as well as an ax. Their leather armor appears to be in decent condition, however, judging from the lack of holes.
