Ok, here's where we'll discuss character generation for any new recruits for the game, since the other thread has turned into IC and I don't want to spam spoiler tags for pages :D

Ok, tell me when you're done catching up, and I'll walk you thru the character creation.

First step will be to come with the character concept and background story.

No problemo. Also, you may want to link the OOC to the IC OP, and vice versa. Makes things more convenient.

EDIT: Okay, I'm ready to make my char. What do I need to do?

Let me repost the instructions:

Start by coming up with your background, like this:

    Come up with the high concept, as a general statement and not as an aspect.
    Come up with the sort of trouble the character must contend with, again just as a general statement.
    Detail some backstory: (only about a paragraph for each is good but do it as long as you need)
        Detail some formative experience that lead to who your character is today.
        Detail a vivid memory of pride or fear, and how that shapes who your character is.
        Detail a recent awesome thing, ideally (but not necessarily) something other characters could be involved with.

Do all this in one go, all of this is "step 1" so to speak. It just means "write your story, divided in these 'episodes'".

Don't include the other PCs in the story, but there should be opportunity to insert them later. See the other player posts for examples.
