Interesting ideas! We'll have to wait and see what happens.

But for now it's time for Part 7: The Blood Harvest (Ooooh Ominous).

Danger rooms are OK if the spears are metal and no armour is worn.
I like you. It's a shame that actual danger doesn't increase the limits of your attribute gain. Any survivors should also have to fight a forgotten beast bare handed until their wrestling caps.

Loving this.  I can't wait to see what you're plotting for assaulting the surface.

Would be interesting if the dwarves, unable to combat the undead threat above, start taming the caverns.

With some herbalism, farming, traps and animal training, they may ensure their survival.

Argh, too short! This is crack cocaine. Though, I do miss the animated gifs... it really helps draw the eye to what the narrator is describing.

Oh no!

Uhhhh they are animated gifs! I don't know what Imgur has done, or why, but the images are only showing up as animated if you view the full resolution. I'll do what I can to see if there's a solution. Not having them animated is terrible :(.

EDIT: It seems site or my account wide; even my old images are now stuck still where they once had life.

DOUBLE EDIT: http://imgur.com/blog/2014/10/09/introducing-gifv Imgur seems to be in some sort of flux.

TRIPPPLE EDIT: I've updated this weeks upload to be in a album format that still allows for the animations to play and have contacted imgur to see about getting the issue fixed. A consequence of it (for now) though is the quality is complete crap.

Most of the images are blank for me... how unfortunate.

Apparently their new GifV thing only works on certain browsers.  Looks like it works on IE and Chrome, but not Firefox or Opera.

At least, it's been coming and going with Opera.  Haven't gotten to work in FF yet.  It'll work in opera if I give it way more time than it should need to download the images.

Aww sorry for the gifv stuff, I can't do much about it, but I still feel bad for people looking forward to reading it. At least I can say in better news that the animations should be working again in the normal blog format.

In defence of imgur I'll say this. It actually makes it possible to view this on a mobile device (Mobiles hate gifs). Due to the small screen the quality drop isn't noticeable either.

You can fake being able to run on water. You can't fake looking cool when you break your foot on a door and hit your head on the floor.

I agree that it's actually a good thing. Animated gifs, by their nature, are enormous, so being able to compact them down to less than 10% of their size is great.  We just have to wait for browser support to catch up a little

As of the last time I checked, they don't work for FF, but I can deal.

Edit, checked again, they seem fine! Thanks!

Heiterverzweiflung. Not a legit German word so much as something a friend and I made up in German class once. "Carefree despair". When life is so fucked that you can't stop laughing.
