Entity crashes the world gen - why?
« on: September 19, 2014, 03:10:45 pm »

I've got two entities that crash the world gen, right after the "placing civilizations" part.
I have no idea why. One is very basic (just there to attack you), with very limited positions. The second one shares most of its features with the entities that don't crash the worldgen.

There's nothing in the error log. The creatures must be alright, they work in the arena.

Both entities worked fine in 34.x. I've only changed them by adding the 40.x values.

I'll post the code for the first entity.
The second one is too big to post; however, I stress that it has mostly the same things as my other entities, which don't cause crashes. The set of positions that it uses is the Rhenaya's Drow position set, and it's in one of those too.

There's a load of problems with dark fortresses in playable civilizations right now. Change it to mountainhalls/towns/forest retreats.

Huh. That... worked. Thanks.

Does it also not work in vanilla, or is it hardcoded for the goblins?

It's just that letting weird site types anywhere near the retire/reclaim system is like introducing a brick to a turbine intake.
