Yeah... we're all one family of roommates, so we've got just 24K. Woops.

And to think I could've built us a mamain or something. That sucks, but since we've got 5 guys, we could make it pretty good pretty fast, especially of we actually create a band like you guys are saying. Speaking of the band, those pictures are awesome, Mech. I'd wear them on a T-shirt. ^^

Actually, our funds are one more reason to go for apartments - they are stupid cheap. A fully furnished and decorated one for three people, including instruments and full repaint left me with 10K in my pocket consistently, and the only source of income was bar gigs.

Mkay. ^^

I'm at school, so I can't upd00t now, but I'll move us into a larger apartment tonight and Teh Kronicls of Wachbay will begin.

The first day is gonna be amazing, I can feel it.

Okay, so here's the thing. I couldn't get us an apartment that looked big enough to fit all of us inside. The good thing is that I just looked into the prefabs, bought us a 2-bedroom house, made a few changes for money porpoises, and the result was this lovely home.

After entering the house, Gentleman Raptor seems to realize that we only have 30 bucks to our name, and promptly begins crying. Scrdest immediately hits the sack, and everyone else starts reading. Pretty mellow bunch so far.

After scrdest wakes up, I direct him to Le Newspaper and get him a job. He wished for a job in the business career, so that's what I gave him. Professional music can always come later. Some socializing happened, and the housemates git acquainted with each other.

Later in the day, when the gang's tummies were rumbling, I decided that GentlerRaptor would be the perfect man to save the day with a batch of macaroni.

What happened afterwards could only be described as the weirdest dinnertime I have seen in The Sims up to today. It was a pain in the ass to get everyone to the table, but when I did, MaximumZero felt it necessary to eat while standing next to the table, facing away from everyone else.

After dinner, Zan sits at the table reading while Raptor talks more, only this time it's with Birdy, a conversation about dancing bookshelves or something.

So, uh... yeah, that was weird. I'm definitely gonna keep doing this. Operating five Sims at once isn't so hard. Before the next update rolls around, I'll add in all the other forumites, or at least some of them. I should also probably change MZ's traits.

I do like the idea of a dorm with everyone crammed into as small a space as possible. One bed, one cabinet and one door in a 2x2 room. ::Sniff:: reminds me of my dwarves usual accommodations.

Also, I've been meaning to ask for it ever since the household pictures, but could you please style-edit my sim's hat to be actually black, not brown, at some point? The color mismatch is bothering me for some silly reason.

Good idea! We sure could use some profit right about now, anyway.
I'm curious, is it possible for a Sim to die while exploring the catacombs? I've never tried it before.

EDIT: I should also make it so that Scrdest's top hat is part of his swimwear and sleepwear too.

I've never had it happen. Also, I fucked up my trait selection last time, and am missing a big one. Perfectionist, Hot Headed, Brave, Athletic, and Loner is probably my best setup, although you can swap out hot headed and loner for whatever (typically Wolfeyez makes me Perfectionist/Brave/Computer Whiz/Handy/Schmoozer.) Brave will let me put out fires without a bunch of negative moodlets and fight burglars who invade my precious space.
