UNMD - First Contact: Casualty

OOC Thread



After a short elevator ride down from the main complex on the surface, the pilots step out into the main hangar, the frames of their mechas lined up against the back wall. Between them lies an armory's worth of ammunition and modules, some of which are currently being attached to the mecha. In front of all this stands a blue hologram of a goat, which stares at the confused pilots amassed at the bottom of the elevator.

"Bleet."

The goat morphs into the form of a young man wearing a tuxedo.

"Just joking. I am Phineas, your adjudant. Welcome to the Hangar. As you can see, those are your mechas over there, you can test those out shortly. First, the tour."

Phineas shows them around the complex, which primarily consists of living quarters, a dining room, some relaxation rooms, and some training facilities. There are also many labs, plenty of storage space, and a workshop.

"Well, I'm assuming none of you really give a rats ass, so I guess you can get in your mechs and run around in the training room. Otherwise, you can just chill out around here."

Justin nods. "Alright, I'll do that." He walks over to his mech and gets in, and proceeds to the training room.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Justin pilots his mecha into a cave. Well, a giant, lit-up cave. Nevertheless, there is plenty of room to run around in, and there are a few practice dummies hidden towards the back.

Justin Grins. "Now this is a swrrt setup! I think I'll have a little fun..." He starts dashing around the cave, getting a feel for the controls of the Thor. Next, he loads up paint rounds and unloads on the dummies

[7, 57, 45, 27] vs [nothing, it's a dummy], 136 bullets worth of paint

Needless to say, Justin has thoroughly coated one.

((Each cannon fires the equivalent of 60 gauss slugs, that do 1 damage each, per volley. In reality, it might've fired thousands of tiny bullets, but they'd still do the same amount of damage as the 60. Also, being a Vulcan, some of those bullets splatter the wall around the target instead of hitting.

tl:dr, replace bullets with damage and you're sweet))
