"Oh, stop being so negative Harlan. I'm sure we can escape if we work together!"

[Sirus]

: "I'm just being realistic. Well, I guess I'm "in" if there's an actual escape attempt. I've got nothing to lose anyway."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I didn't think I was being THAT loud, Harlan. Sorry."

"Glad you're going to help out, though."

[Sirus]

Harlan just shrugged, even though the singer probably couldn't see him. It hadn't been a complaint, but there was no point in trying to explain that right now. He was curious about what the new guy's plan was.

[Solymr]

: Well, I took *some* keys... But anyways, this is my last shot and I'm having it. Let's see...

Mason starts messing around with the keys, trying them one by one on his door's lock until...

*click*

: I'm out!

[Sirus]

Harlan was impressed despite himself, but was determined to show nothing.

: "Well, that's step one. Now what about steps two through ten?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Can step two be unlocking my cell, please?"

[Solymr]

: Yeah, yeah, just pray that I don't have to go sneaking around looking for more keys.

Mason tried the keys again on Lilly's door. After a few tries...

*click*

: Well what do you know? And this is... the same... key... as mine. No way.

Mason tried the key on the rest of the doors. It opened them all.

: ...Either this prison's security isn't as strict as I thought, or they're taking us all for peasants.

[Khaiel]

"I bet step three is getting a unicorn and two twins. It is step three for MY plan. Although I guess we can leave that to some later point. Maybe for ten? And we could get all of us out for step three."

"Well, if we continue at this rate, we'll be out of here in no time, I bet."

[Sirus]

: ...Either this prison's security isn't as strict as I thought, or they're taking us all for peasants.

: "Probably trying to save money. This is a huge prison after all, and individual keys for each cell would be prohibitively expensive and difficult to track. So, they save time and resources and have one key for each cell block."

Harlan stepped out of his cell, feeling the first faint stirrings of hope. Maybe this could actually work...assuming they found some weapons and actually made it out, at least.

[SeriousConcentrate]

Lillian stepped out as soon as the door was open and hugged Mason.

"Thanks! It feels good to be out of that cell!"

"Now we just have to... get out of the prison and hijack a ship. Ha ha."

"Well, at least we have the chance to try! Good to see you all instead of just hearing you."

Lillian waved at the people she couldn't have seen from her cell.

[Ochita]

Albert gave a small start as he woke up from the nap he was having, to hear the sounds of someone fiddling with a lock. To be specific, the lock to his door. Expecting the guard, he was surprised when it turned out to actually be a young man in robes.

"Well, this is unexpected... I'd never think that someone would bust me from jail..."

Albert gave a small stretch, and walked out of his cell, giving small nervous waves to everyone.

[Solymr]

Mason didn't expect a hug from a total stranger this soon.

: Oof! You really wanted to get out didn't you? We can leave presentations for later. Now what we need is weapons, maybe we can find some armory or something... Follow me closely, keep in the shadows and for
God's sake don't make too much noise.

[SeriousConcentrate]

Lillian nodded and moved to fall into step behind Harlan, since he looked like a sneaky sort.
