King of the kill, adventure mode succession game
« on: October 11, 2014, 06:44:34 pm »

Note. This is a new save, new world. I genned a large world with low savagery, high beast count, high civ count, high mineral count

RULES
Ask to sign up, and you will be added to the end of the list.
You have (current poll result) to play your adventurer, and after you retire/die horribly in a pit of fire, you can build a fort with our remaining time.
Please don't go on a massacre killing civilizations, we'd prefer to keep a populated world.
After killing the previous adventurer, move to another town/hamlet/fortress/whatever to retire, as the previous adventurer's town/hamlet/fortress/whatever will now be hostile to you.
Bonus points if you take "trophies" from the previous adventurers, however you interpret trophies.
Don't savescum, use DFHack, use external programs to give you an unfair edge, or otherwise cheat in anyway. It ruins the fun.
Have Fun!
Remember, losing is fun!

Joining, what happened to the last one?

Joining. Write me up, too.
Or just grab the list from the last thread.

Assuming this is the thread we talked about in the last one.

I'll join this. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's adventure mode.

If I understand correctly, if the adventurer before survives, you must kill him/her.

Save is up
Excellent.

I shall start my turn as soon as I get home.

Also, would I be able to use my first day to make a micro fortress just to have entrances to the caverns/hell? Don't worry about an unfair advantage, as I have never been able to embark anywhere that has iron. Upon maximizing the use of my adventurer, and retiring him, I plan on reclaiming said fortress just to produce as much of everything I can within my time period.

Shit, I just realised I'm the second and I've never done something like this before.
Oh well.

Wait a minute, what version does this use?

I'm just gonna assume 40.13 and wing it.

nvm, saw 40.13 in the download page.

Anyways, what's the point of using that B1 thing?? It's not like you actually have to buy WinRAR or anything...
