Urist McMiner cancel Dig channel: Creature Occupying tile.

Also: Urist McMiner cancel deconstruct floor: Creature Occupying site.

Maybe the dig channel check shouldn't apply to the dwarf digging.
Would dramatically reduce the number of accidents during big projects.

A creature occupying a tile is a temporary blockade. Maybe such designations could get suspended instead?
And automatically un-suspended after a day or so.

Oh yeah, this one's a real pain.
So is the whole "Urist McGenius cancels Build Wall: Creature Occupying Site"
WELL URIST, GET OFF THAT TILE!
That, or just build the tile while you're in it and get pushed out of it.

Agreed. Don't annoy us even more by complaining about simple problems. Just code the dwarves to not be dumbasses, and move.
