My dwarves get a load of those "didn't feel anything after seeing X die" -thoughts when visiting a refuse stockpile filled with various body parts. I don't think that's working as intended.

Other than that, the change has been surprisingly undramatic. Few dwarves are sad about being separated from their aunts or uncles they left to another fortress, even if it has been eighteen years since they last saw them.

I came to this thread expecting something dirty. What I found was... well, I'm not sure if it's what I expected, but it probably isn't clean.

What really got me about the first picture is "She didn't feel anything after seeing a weasel die." Firstly, lol, secondly, how could you not?

What about killing a sentient creature?

Edit: give them "likes fighting" and they will take joy again.

Within the last season, I have been annoyed at the constant "didn't feel anything" spam.

Whenever dwarves visit the refuge stockpile they get a separate "didn't feel anything" feeling from each corpse they happen to see during their visit. Some dwarves have already half a page of these messages.

Dwarves are the best nihilists, they even record their instances of non-feeling.

Everyone is either embarrassed or humiliated at sharing my standard soil layer starter dorm and not having their own room. They're starting to appreciate the built objects like doors, butchairs seem super-important to them.

From what I've seen, Dwarves feel nothing when animals die, but are horrified when so much as a Kobold gets killed.

NOTE: These Dwarves have not been battle-hardened yet. I'm sure any legendary axe murderers will be pleasured, excited, or intrigued when killing sentient things.
