Professions among creatures

Night trolls and sasquach being hammermen and recruits seemed normal to me. But now I met a wolf recruit.

Is this normal occurence? Known bug?

The night troll being a hammerman might be normal, but they shouldn't be recruits, and yes it's a known bug.

Same bug. The report I linked covers all animal recruits.

I actually had two turkey recruits once, somehow.

Maybe there was a draft we didn't no about. Maybe the turkeys finally lobbied for equal rights.

Not that related to the topic, but did the townspeople help you fight the thing off or alert a guard or at least run away?
