I am going to +1 Pobiega's idea and insignia, it's an elegant design and elegant guild concept.
For whichever design we're all winning, then I really hope to make the insignia better by detailed it custom-made :3 (instead of an online program, for posterity anyway).

Well, my main reason for supporting your idea wasn't really the insignia. I just think it's interesting to have a guild that treats most natural resources as expendable, and then rethinking their process when it comes to a new kind of resource that's not like any other. It just opens up opportunities, perhaps for conflict with the superiors of the guild?

Chaos is a good thing in these sorts of games :P

I'm the one in charge of resource harvesting~ We're going to be using a renewable resource plan from the getgo.

Shortterm loss, longterm profit matters much more then shortferm profit and longterm loss.

Might take a bit longer to set up, but worth it in the end.

((Bring sunscreen and flashlights~ This is going to be a fun planet~))

I'm not talking about practices, I'm talking about their outlook. If all these rocks in space are just there for us to make a profit, that changes what we use them for. But maintaining a population center and colony changes that outlook to one based around constructing a society with its own moral goals rather than profit. The guild needs a moral outlook where they didn't have one before. If poorly planned, this could lead to factions forming in the guild and trying to usurp control in order to impose their own visions on the future development on the colony.

It seems the playerlist has already been filled out. I'll just hop on the waitlist if there is one.

I will get back to you on that when I have the time. Personal issues and college week are competing for the majority of my focus, right now. I'm thinking about converting this into a full-blown forum game rather than an RTD, because the sheer size might make it unfeasible to just use d6's all the time. But I'll give it some thought.

Give it lotsa thought.
A full blown game can be run on d6's and other sets of dice. x3
I know. My game is based around that xD and it works. That, and I've checked the late and recent RtDs, and they go along the same idea too--doesn't have to be complicated to be a full blown game. :3 Even if the d{x}'s are a bit limited in their mechanic of numerical disposition when pertaining to HP and the like, be creative with it \o/
I just have to update it bluhhhh

Also yay personal stuffs! Hope you well!

I would not recommend running too many players in a game with a lot of worldbuilding. I've learned that from experience.

The worldbuilding is mainly the literal world~

Also I have experience with 30+ player games. Few years ago and on another forum, but it happened.

...That's adventurous.

If you think you're up for it, it's your game anyhow. But I'm content as things are, so don't feel pressured to change the rules because of me. ;)
