Did something like this happen to some of you? It may be because i'm kinda new to the 40.13...

Nonsapients(and even most sapients) don't have rights and don't side with "civilized" sapients. Which means it's okay to kill them under the warped views of hunams(and dorfs(and erlfs(and golbliins(but they consider killing anyone acceptable anyway).

Wow, I completely misssed the point of your message. Here, let me rationalize it.

Cat's are notorious for their breeding speed(seriously, has anyone thought of neutering them?). He's asking the cat to go around and mate, then get it's grandchildren to zerg rush the hydra. It's quite simple!

The cat could use its legendary climbing skills and drop heavy objects on the hydra. Better yet, it could leverage its aloofness to recruit a dorf to do most of the work.

For some reason I first interpreted the above as that this monk was a devout follower of Stray Cat (Tame), and was recruiting your adventurer in his quest for glory in the name of the great kitty. :o
