Propaganda doesn't have to be false information. Just presented in such a way to convince the audience of a particular view.

I don't see the propoganda besides 'we tactically pwned you' taunting.

If it's an accurate picture of current or near current fronts, it's not really propaganda is it? I. Mean sure it can be used for propaganda taunting, but it in itself isn't propoganda.

And yeah, they're going to get encircled again if they aren't careful, or make a tactical retreat out of the trap.
The reason why I am calling it propaganda is because it is a rebel-produced map of the fronts, not one from an independent observer, and the rebels have been rather exceedingly optimistic about their successes more often than not. I mean, they have been claiming that they have encircled the Debaltsevo group of UAF forces for at least a week by now, despite there being no actual evidence of them doing so until yesterday. And even then, it's just a "fire encirclement," meaning that that highway you see going from Debaltsevo to Mironovka is not physically blocked, but rather is merely heavily shelled by the rebels' artillery. This still blocks communication, don't get me wrong, but calling it a full physical encirclement is at least premature.

EDIT: Hell, I could even give you this map if I wanted to show you what the rebels claim they control, as opposed to what they actually control as evidenced by videos.

Spoiler: Just for fun. (click to show/hide)

That teddy must be from eastern Germany, because that's the only place where you could conceivably find communazis.

It appears that Crimeans like being there more than in Ukraine.

It's certainly warmer here... Mordor is warm, right?

To clarify, that research was performed by a Ukrainian polling centre on Canadian money, so no pro-Russia shilling there.

Also fixed Sergarr's quote to remove vagueness.

EDIT: And the machine-translated version of this research is passable to boot!

It's interesting to see just how low the percentage of "independent Crimea" people there is.

Owlbread, if you want to make them independent, I'm pretty sure you would have to do it by force.

Hm. Phone poll. lol.

Some unknown guy calls to your stationary phone and asks - do you approve annexation of Crimea?

Sure, no one will be worried that "no" answer will bring them problems. It is not like you can lose job or worse for a wrong kind of answer.

I'm pretty sure they announce from where they are when they do that phone call. Surely freedom loving Ukrainian patriots would answer without a lie to a question asked by somebody from Canada Fund for Local Initiatives for a project Free Crimea?

Or maybe they don't exist and you're simply delusional.

Or maybe the pro-Ukrainian flet Crimea already. Do we have numbers on the population movement in and out of Crimea since its secession/invasion?

Judging by the mobilization statistics, it's likely that there was in fact an influx of Ukrainians in Crimea.

Because for some reason people love running away to the "aggressor country".

Makes a hell of a lot more sense to move out of a warzone then into one.
