Throwing weapons!

Are coins decent throwing weapons? If they aren't, what can I do to the raws to make them good? And what other objects are good throwing weapons? (Other then fluffy warblers of course.)

I throw knives often. In adventure mode, that is. Normally, I don't get a kill against a humanoid, but I've gotten some against beasts.

Coins *may* have been fixed this update, but before they would just pass through monsters like magic without injuring them at all.
I'm not sure what you can do to fix it, perhaps decreasing the amount given by forging coins?

Arrows and bolts are generally pretty good, and people's weapons. And anything heavy, like a table or bags of food and water. I personally like to use water/blood or bugs, but those aren't very good...

And rocks are also a good throwing weapon when you don't have much else.

Sadly, the wonders of thrown weapons are lost upon dwarven ears, they simply can't imagine using a weapon that doesn't involve having something that stays in their hands
