Ballad of Oilytube
« on: June 28, 2015, 05:59:58 pm »

The founders of Oilytube struck the earth in the early year 201. The leaders saw it fit to move everything underground. Above ground was the home of the doomed were-creatures. Years went by without incident. The door to the outside was sealed. And one day when there was lacking in wood the doors were flung open.
Nothing occurred.
But Kadol left the doors open for fear of shutting out the fools.
The fools.
Then the beast came.
Not one soul pulled the lever.
All the idle dorfs and not one to pull the lever.
Tis the will of Armok.
A lone werebeast entered. Untouched by the army who call themselves the "Washed Wheels"
Alas...5 were infected, but many were injured.
Into the hospital they go.
Dorfs!!! Heed me!!! Wall thine brethren in!
All obeyed. One sealed himself in. Even those who were not infected will perish.
Hopfully they die before the innocents do.
Armok have mercy.

The Infected are utterly immortal unless they go mad and kill one another. They heal from any wound that doesn't kill them, never grow tired, and it takes longer than a month to starve/dehydrate.

Is there a word that combines comedy with tragedy and farce?
Heiterverzweiflung. Not a legit German word so much as something a friend and I made up in German class once. "Carefree despair". When life is so fucked that you can't stop laughing.
