Sulk away and feast upon the wild-life instead.

We must grow.

Posting due to being extremely impatient.

Sulk away and feast upon the wild-life instead.

We must grow.
You decide to wait a bit to take over, and creep away to find prey. Unfortunately, you are rather slow, even at a full gallop, for a hydra and everything, mostly birds and rabbits, see you from a mile away. You growl to yourself, knowing the humanoids are stupid enough to run right up to you and give you a free snack, when you make it to a beach. Crabs and horseshoe crabs are bite-sized, but they are slow and they'll have to do for now until you get faster. You eat a crab and two horseshoe crabs before starting back. A predatory bird who didn't notice you until it was too late was also attempted, but you kept choking on the feathers. You then realize something: where are the larger animals?
Will you go back to the camp or search for larger game?

Look for larger game.
We must investigate this surprising lack of tastier prey!

Spoiler: note (click to show/hide)
After a day of hunting, you still haven't found large prey. You end up filling up on assorted crabs, sea otters, a dwarf that was dumb (or drunk) enough to ambush you without a weapon, and a couple of foxes instead of something larger and most likely tastier. You had forgotten the fact that feathers make you choke and attempted a couple of turkeys with uncomfortable results.
To top this off, the sky has turned grey with clouds, flakes of cold started raining down, and water pools have frozen. Night is falling soon, you need a lair to stay in, lest you find out why day-dwellers fear the night. The scent of booze and work alerts you to a dwarf nearby, and you can always take over the camp if you wanted to, or another beast's lair if you find one.

It is snowing.
The sky above you is a uniform dark grey.
The sun is low in the western sky behind the clouds.
There's a cool breeze blowing from the east, carrying the scent of dwarf.

Whatever the Dwarves have set up is probably much more interesting than I care for.

Find some hole and evict its current owner, the Dwarves can wait.

As stated prior, we are much too skinny to be taking over a camp full of humans and dwarves. We must become swifter, larger, and mightier should we want to take on an army alone. Search for a nearby small cave or cavern and claim it as your own.

PA is right, we need a fucking lair. Living on the run is for lowly forgotten beasts.

You realize taking over the camp is not a good idea; you need a proper lair! Night here is too cold to even think of sleeping out in the open unless there's no other choice. Besides, a simple cave is MUCH better than a claimed camp and living on the run. Living on the run is only for lowly, ugly forgotten beasts that don't even get a single gem of treasure for themselves.

Not to mention that it's a bad idea in general to take on the possible army at the moment, you need to be stronger. And solve the prey problem. You decide to search the rest of the day for a lair.
The sun is setting to the west.
It is freezing.
You growl to yourself as the sun starts to set. Not even a sign of any sort of lair. You'll search tomorrow, as your eyes aren't adjusted for nighttime. You make a small, controlled fire. By 'small controlled fire', you mean you made a !!xtreex!! because it's very cold out and a tiny fire won't do it at the moment.
What will you do during the night?

Have our heads take turns sleeping and keeping watch.
when it was almost dawn, your sixth head catches the scent of death. Out of the shadows came a strange looking night creature. A feathered, fluffy, four-horned humanoid wielding a carving knife. It tries to give a speech but you bit off the arm holding the knife. It then hissed and woke you completely up by giving said head a concussion. You give off a VERY angry growl and proceed to bite into it with all of your heads. It puts up a good fight, goreing you in every spot it could reach and managing to tear a leg's muscle and break your 6th head's skull before being torn to nonliving bits.
You are NOT eating this. Not only can you not eat it due to the annoying feathers, but the night beast just plain tasted nasty.
You are relieved that you had a head up, otherwise you most likely would've gotten more injured. Broken bones and torn muscle heal, severed parts, brain damage (which you unfortunately did receive), and death do not.
You end up sleeping for long enough to heal your legs, keeping one head, except the 6th as you have a hard time seeing out of that head, awake to watch for other threats.

Move away from the coast and towards a forest.

Perhaps we may find some deer, elk, wombats or hippies within!

Holy shit, the sixth head is GONE. that was my favorite. Better exert some wanton slaughter on the nearest habitants as revenge.

The night went smoothly other than an attack by very tiny monsters that you never, ever want to see again (One gored you in the right lung and another escalated the concussion in your 6th head and they were really REALLY hard to bite) and the beach raining fish.
Spoiler: OOC notes (click to show/hide)
You head to the savage forest and found what you were looking for after a day of travel (along with 2 camps and a few attempts by humans to kill you that ended in about a half a second): A PROPER LAIR! It even came with some free large prey. In other news, the humanoids might be happy that Osnungkure the giant dingo was eaten.

You decide that the first thing you are going to do tomorrow is 'tell' the locals how angry you are about your bad night.

The near-by humans are now missing 2 dogs, 4 cats, and apparently their current lord. You have also angered the humans. You are currently split between getting back to your lair by night or getting the great treasures in this huge building.
What do you do?
