Guild of Dungeoneering
« on: December 08, 2014, 07:31:05 pm »

Had a play around with this game today and I think it has a lot of promise. The dungeon building portion of it, which you can play test on the site, really has a solid boardgame style to it. I'll be interested to see how the meta-game aspect of running a guild and building stronger heroes to allow you to run harder dungeons plays out but the base gameplay is fun enough for a time-waster.

Looks neat. Reminds me a lot of: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gNGh-mTGUPM/UC-QFEYxyiI/AAAAAAAABxI/pLsgSj23zWU/s1600/2012-04-06_11-42-34_351.jpg

Only with more cards and tiles to put down.

Love the hand drawn map look, and the fact you're luring around an AI. Art isn't quite my cup of tea, but it kinda reminds of BoI and I think it could grow on me. It's just a little too saccharine cute. I guess it'll be sorta like Darkest Dungeon in that you'll have a stable of heroes to recruit?

Be interested to see how this comes along.
