. His squidlike skin seems to take the blow harshly, but he continues to prepare the summoning spell.

to his knees.
"Hkffffh... no... no! Th... this couldn'tkhhhhhahhh... no... no! Damn you all! MAY THE SHADOW LORD S'SNIMGINON KNOCK YOU ALL DOWN! BAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAahahahaaaaaa..."With his last gesture,
raises his hand into the air. Unholy energy crackles around it, and, though dead, his hand slams to the ground, into the summoning pentagon.
There is a moment of silence.
Then, strange, non-Euclidean shapes blast from the ground. A blast of dark power fires from the circle, a beam of destruction. Everything you see begins to dissipate. The pillars of the temple lose random parts. You, yourselves, begin to slowly disappear. The only thing that does not go away is the blast of evil. The last thing you hear is the laughing of a man whose name you don't know...
