Trump has stated that he wants to choose a political insider for his VP pick. Which is a smart move, but how is that going to sit with his supporters? And how quick will Ted Cruz jump all over that shit and say that, if nominated, he will select a total outsider for his VP pick -- maybe Ted Nugent? "Ted & Ted" has a nice ring to it. As does "Crugent".

Linkage on the statement?nvm, found the CNN article. I saw on CNN that Trump had said that his VP pick would be a political person, not neccesarily an insider or establishment. Rubio could be a possibility, though he's kind of a polar opposite on some things.

Might end up being someone who endorses him because he'll have a hard time finding an insider or establishment person who'll want to be his VP.

It's also a smart move because he'll need someone to work with congress.

Maybe by "insider" he means a congressperson who endorses him?

That's what I said :P

Also, he can't pick someone from New York state because Amendment 12 and we're going to have to see who else endorses him. It could also be someone from the Tea Party group or something.

As someone with two young kids, I'm less sanguine about trashing their future.
Apt choice of words...  When I joked about supporting Trump, I was having a lot of red wine.  Also, it'd be bloody.
Sober?  No, no, it really won't help.  And I'm getting worried because some of my liberal friends aren't joking when they say it.

I understand making a protest vote, or abstaining.  I hate the hopelessly entrenched two party system.  But a vote for Batman is a better protest than supporting Trump.

Have we gone back to trump actually being a possibility again? Oh dear.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

To be fair though the ATF has stated that flamethrowers are not firearms, and so are outside the Federal restrictions on firearms.

I'd argue that flamethrowers are more literal firearms than most guns are, given how much more fire is involved with them.

More likely then ever I'd say.  The question isn't how but rather how not.

I wonder if the Canadian real estate market notices an uptick during US Presidential elections.

Back to flamethrowers for one sec: RIFAs/Brazilian Fire Ants. they are a serious problem, bad enough that Army Engineers are sometimes sent in to handle particularly bad infestations. Usually with explosives and fire. Although it's kinda stupid that anybody can get a flamethrower, there are people who use them for pest control.

Well yeah but pest control companies use a lot of restricted equipment.

A well regulated vermin problem being essential to the structural integrity of my house, the right of the public to own poison shall not be infringed.

Yeah, that's true, but still. Let that image rest in your mind...
