I pumped a fair chunk of time into Factorio and Graveyard Keeper recently which lead to an interesting dream the other day.

Specifically, about hanging out in a megafactory where you could probably put up a sign saying "Days since last accident: 5 minutes."

Actually, it probably qualifies as a nightmare.

Automation (the Car Company Tycoon Game) + Crusader Kings II.

Ok so option one: The Caravel Company Tycoon Game.

Option two: Carsader Kings, where you build cars and then drive them mad-max style into battle.

Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead and STALER Lost Alpha
A roguelike set in the zone.

Now that I've thought about it I really want a STALKER roguelike.

The structure is all there for a decent roguelike: a series of navigable underground spaces, monsters, post-apocalyptic loot, maybe even weapon crafting. Would you want procedurally generated factions too?

Couple minor mod tweaks and there's even randomized monster spawns, anomalies, bandit activity etc.

There was some attempts in the past at a Stalker roguelike, but i don't remember any getting to completion unfortunately.
One that seemed promising was Reactor 3 :
https://old.reddit.com/r/roguelikedev/comments/1stcoj/reactor_3_a_stalkerfallout_inspired_roguelike/
It has a code repository on github but its development was abandonned in 2014

To bad it looks like it needs Linux, and was never finished.

So some weird bastard child of Mount and Blade and Dawn of War II I guess?

Endless Sky, Minecraft, Pokemon GO

I was a brave astronaut launching into spaaaaaace (scary oxygen-helmet and cramped module but exciting!).  I was piloting around a very unrealistic space when my sensors noticed a projectile about to smash into life-bearing world D:  I tried to get there in time to stop it, but I had to be very careful adjusting thrust, since navigating by vision was... treacherous, at the kind of speeds involved.  I arrived too late, just in time to see the impactor entering the atmosphere.  It was slowing down a lot, though, and coming in a low angle where it nearly missed the planet altogether.  It slowly smashed into an ancient-looking stone fortress-monument, like a pyramid but with more bits.  I landed nearby to investigate.

Then I was playing a combination of Minecraft and Pokemon.  Except the Pokemon were little hordes of guinea pigs (I has a guinea pig).  They felt *amazing* to stick my hand in, warm fuzzy adorableness, but I could also throw any object to them and they would swarm and devour it for component parts.  I think the crafting was going to involve "evolving" them by feeding them different scraps from the shattered temple.

There were local aliens in the temple but they considered me a potential help, so they were operating like tutorial NPCs.

Kathy Rain and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

You're stuck as a Pokemon with amnesia but you uncover the mystery through detective work and puzzle solving rather than beating up your new furry friends in endless underground passages.
