Sounds good but he had better be careful with our weapon.

It must be perfectly balanced, we shall not allow our signature weapon to be defiled by a botched upgrade or the touch of an unskilled smith!

The game master enters the room,"That was a fine show you all put on today, great work. The mace men hardly stood any chance. Now onto your personal prizes, what would you all like? Keep it small, you didn't win Colloseum or anything. Something simple that you would like to have."

You tell him you want your trident sharpened to double as a sort of axe or bladed trident. The others respond with assorted equipment upgrades.

"Yes yes those are all fine, I'll retrieve your equipment and have my smiths work on it all while you await your next game."
He leaves.

The next day you are left in your master's training hard with the rest, what do you do all day?

How strong are we? We need to set a goal of being able to do 500 pushups non-stop. That way, we'll be able to chuck our opponents into the stands.

Do pushups all day.

Why not +1 and spar.

You do push-ups for hours, your arms burn as though hot pitch was thrown on them.
You spar with the tank who seems to have made a full recovery.
You are fast enough to dodge most of his strikes and the ones you land on him have little to no effect.
He eventualy wins the first session with one shot to your gut that picks you up off the ground.

Its lunch time.
Options are
Seafood pasta, steak and potatoes, or chicken salad

Steak and potatoes. Ask if the potatoes can be sliced into some chips. And fried in fat.

you got to about 120 pushups before your arms began to feel wobbly so you stopped for a bit and sparred with tank.

You ask if you can get chicken with sliced and fried potatoes. it's a reasonable enough meal to make and you get it.
The chicken is nice and moist and the potatoes are crispy and carry some of the taste of the steak fat they were fried in.

Your master aprouches you, ¨Your trident's modifications will be done soon, the game master for the arena you fought in today was wondering if you would like to be part of a special night fight where it is the winners of the day fighting against animals. Its your choice if you and the others want to go, it was an invitation from the game master to you and I don't much mind it... being free training and all. I just need your decision by the end of the day¨
what do you do during the afternoon and do you accept the invitation to the animal arena fight.

You accept the invitation, but there was one thing your master forgot to mention, you can only bring one team member with you to the fight.
Who do you take?
