Do you mean graphics set? I would think you mean graphics set... But I wouldn't mid getting my tileset included in a project as noble and useful as Modest Mod :D

Well OK, I should probably share my ulterior motive so y'all know what I'm looking for. I want to do a tutorial/example for this script I made to apply graphics changes to raws, so I'm specifically looking for a tileset or graphics set that changes some text files.

How about giving Duerer a try?

Thanks for maintaining the modest mod + accelerated stuff btw! I appreciate it.

I've run into something that doesn't seem quite right though after installing the Accelerated + Pedestals.

It seems during world map generation tile 6 (Green) is replaced with tile 198 (Brown).

And after embark all the leaves on the trees that should be green are brown.

I tried mucking around in the raws a bit to see if I could find something on it... but no dice.

In Accelerated, I removed all cosmetic-only leaves from trees to improve performance. You're seeing bare twigs. :)

Awesome mod compilation.  I use the modest mod alongside accelerated, with a few things of my own thrown in.

Any chance you could include links to the up-to-date tilesets you use?  Or better yet, any chance you can include them in the download?

How about giving Duerer a try?

Blarg, Duerer has almost no raw changes, and that's what I was hoping to show off :-\ I'm going ahead with Obsidian.

At least, Duerer should be extremely easy to install yourself?

I usually go off the graphics that come bundled with the Lazy Newb Pack. I may include them eventually.

Modest Mod v0.40.24-2a is out.

This is a bugfix release. I have also included versions with the Obsidian and GemSet graphics installed.

Thanks, but that seems unlikely. I mean, it's been a few hours since I last checked, but...

The custom milling reactions won't show up for me. Neither does empty water bucket. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if any of them do, other than pearls showing up in the craftdwarf shop. I manually merged raws, but everything looks right (reactions are under permitted for dwarf, tags in place, etc, etc). The new pig iron & steel reactions work perfectly.

Pearls sounded like a great idea, but I was already buried in mussel shells. It's probably more the fault of the mussels being too plentiful, since they can keep a fisher, fishcleaner and bonecarver working full time (this is vanilla, not because of the mod). The problem is vanilla shells are a seperate category and can be regulated to a specific refuse pile. Since you made the pearls remains they go to the remains pile, which already tends to fill up on me (and I have a 75 tile pile for remains). I reverted it back easily enough myself, but I bring this up in case it isn't something that's been observed.

All in all, great mod.

Oh dear.

Would you please check in your raws and list for me the files named reaction_modest_*.txt - I believe the milling ones are in reaction_modest_specific.txt, and the water bucket is in reaction_modest_waterbucket.txt . If you were using a tool like WinMerge and had left/right-only files disabled, you might not have gotten them. Or if you merged from Accelerated without merging in the normal Modest Mod first, that would have the same effect - Accelerated is intended to be installed on top of the Modest Mod, so files which would be identical between the two aren't included in the Accelerated directory.

If the reaction_modest_ files are present in your raws, would you please upload a save for me so I can check this out?

Thanks! I actually rarely use fisherdwarves myself, so I hadn't noticed that. I'll see what I can do to move pearls into a different stockpile.

Not using winmerge, I do them by hand (sorta...I use beyond compare to examine source and dest and copy line by line what I want). No accelerated or other modules.
reaction_modest_generic, plants, specific, waterbucket. Merged the changes into smelter and I don't remember if you had made any changes to other, but if you did I got them.
Will upload you a save when I get home.

*UPDATE*
So apparently, one does not simply add new reactions to an existing savegame in DF.
Something about the entity file only being read during worldgen. Bummer.
Sorry to bother you about nothing.
