Must have been a terrible emulator, since any GBA emulator worth a damn would have battery-save emulation, even if battery-clock function(slightly important if emulating RSE) doesn't work.

I tried running Diamond on an emulator, but I didn't setup the emulated save function, so after a certain point it stopped saving the game(besides save-states), meaning to do any post-Championship stuff I'd have to start all over.

Silver has the exact same face shape and hair color, and a very similar hairstyle. His body also appears to have the same build as Ariana's. The Bulbapedia images for both have them in the exact same stance, holding a hand on their hip while the other arm is outstretched, the only difference being Ariana has her right hand on her hip, Silver has his left.

The eye color is a bit tricky, since Silver has had three different eye colors. In Gen II, his were black(same as his father, Giovanni's), in the artwork for Gen VI, they were gray, and in the opening cinematic for HG/SS, they were red(same has Ariana). Silver's eye shape doesn't appear to match either Giovanni or Ariana.
