My cavern creatures are killing each other. I don't like this. Does anyone know how I can stop it?

...not having caverns is the only way I've found.

It's worse in adventure mode sometimes. As I was roaming in the caverns lost one night, my dorf beheld a gory sight, when all the monsters in the cavern simultaneously arrived, and suddenly before his eyes they did the mash. They did the monster mash.

I don't think there would be a way... Perhaps adding the [BENIGN] tag to all the cavern creatures? But that would also stop them from attacking your dwarves... The fact is, cavern creatures are still creatures. And creatures kill one another...

Well if you are playing on a zombie biome, that is a serious snowball effect problem.
Also an unreachable forgotten beast can create hundreds of corpse on its own.

if i remember correctly CRAZED tag might help, if all underground creatures have that, they will attack anything without the tag so they will still/even more be dangerous but wont fight between them-selfs
