Hi, lurker here. I've made a game!
Since DF (and LCS) got me into making stuff, i think you guys might enjoy it.
Its a dungeon crawler type game in which you explore derilict space ships. At the moment, its combat-heavy, but that may change.

Its all very barebones still, but i'd love to get some opinions!

Thank you for reminding me. I packaged a .jar file with a shell script to run it. It *should* run fine with any current JRE.
Since im somewhat of a Linux newb, do you know of any better packaging solution?

Oh, thats troubling. Could you PM me the exact version of the JRE or JDK you grabbed? I'd like to try it out on my end. Or perhaps the launcher advises the wrong version.

Edit: I learned that the linked Oracle page wants you to download JRE 8, which is too low version. JDK 17 should generally work:

I'll update the instructions on the page and change the link in the next launcher. Thanks for pointing this out!

I politely disagree, I think Duskers got it right with enemy avoidance and indirect enemy elimination (mines, sucking out with vacuum).

I don't see how that disagrees with me.
Those things sound like combat also.
Heat signature features those things, and I would still call it "combat heavy".

Duskers looks pretty cool. I can't really say much else without playing it.
