Pantheon: (Dis)Grace of the Gods: Chapter 1: Storm Hammer
« on: February 19, 2015, 03:57:12 pm »

At the dawn of time, or perhaps, simply a beginning, since there were no sun to determine a "dawn" yet, there were 6 deities.

These deities crafted a world over which to reside, and declared themselves to each be rulers of their own regions, that the others would not interfere in the others' places.

The three Gods of Domain were Althax, Lord of the Sky, Enthros, Lord of the Sea, and Darus, Lord of the Earth.

The three Goddesses of Dominion were Enya, Lady of Creation, Ori, Lady of Destruction, and Juno, Lady of Balance.

You, on the other hand, are a minor deity.

The major 6 are too busy to quibble in the petty affairs of the mortals that live below them, but you aren't quite that high and mighty.

You reside on the Pinnacle Summit, the palace of the gods, at the top of the roof of the world.

Below you, in the lands around, are the regions of mortals and beasts, and of course, those annoying frost giants that always think it's funny to steal your stuff when you aren't looking.

Sign-ups closed, sorry.

This game isn't minimalist, so please try to be at least somewhat serious. But some forms of silliness are encouraged, particularly when dealing with frost giants.

Name: Durus
Gender: Male
Age: 5,000 years old.
Appearance: A middle-height, muscled man with long brown hair and blazing blue eyes, Durus looks surprisingly handsome for his profession. Some scholars say this is to reflect the beauty and glory of battle, to inspire men of war.

Father: Darus
Mother: Ori
Domain: God of Land battles.

Nidilap likes Adamantine, Bituminous Coal, Garnets, Cats for their aloofness, Dwarves for their stupidity, and Swords for their Spikes and edges. When possible, he prefers to eat pizza, ramen noodles, and sushi. He absolutely detests elves and spiders. He needs MTN DEW to get through the working day.

A medium- sized creature prone to great ambition, but only when he feels like it.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

That'll do.

I'll accept this.

Perfect.

Amazing.

That works.

Good.

Did they borrow the lawnmower without giving it back?
Exactly.
Your character looks good.

Domain: Fire
This is too broad of a category. I'll accept LuckyKobold's "Lightning" Domain because it'll basically only be lightning bolts themselves, not an entire storm. Fire contains too many things.
Perhaps forest fires, or something along those lines?

MC I hope you're not in love with the idea of a serious game, Bay12 has a nasty habit of derailing these sorts of things.
