According to my calculations it's 10m. Starting from 1 square down from the Undead Skirmisher, it's two squares diagonal down-right (6m) and two squares right (4m). Since I'd have to travel from where I am right now to there and back again the distance will be 20m total, meaning I'll have to run.

You're trying to cram way too much into a single turn, Malcolm. Picking up two items from the body on its own would be your whole turn.
