From the first op:


POOF!! You are Dwarves!
You are at a Mountain!
You have picks, supplies, food for the winter, ere the Wolves grow hungry.

How would the population of the forums deal with a Dwarfish World?
Who would be the leaders?
What would be built or dug?

And most important of all... What would the NAME Of the fort be?
BayForm? Fortress Bay? Baynet?

+1, the most important question though... What type of Cheese?

Gamedragon freaks out for a while. He eventually calms down and figures that as he is probably going to die anyway he might as well help in the defense of the fort and so starts the first military squad, The Results of Boredom.

The Results of Boredom needs weapons! (We also need more recruits but the longer I am the sole fighter the more glory I will gain) I have searched the stores and have found a few wooden training weapons and have taken a wooden battle-axe for myself but the sooner we strike metal the better. Swinging the axe around a few times has given me a Novice in Axedwarf.

Amperzand is a mercenary contracted to keep the new fortress alive, basically just a midlevel sworddorf adventurer.

For now, given that my chosen weapon will not be available until we get forges online, I grab a pick {Good enough, I can kill with this} and look for somebody to tell me where to dig.
