Do captured animals need to be trained to breed?

I've got a pair of cave spiders, but I'm using them to make web traps; so, not trained. Will the female still breed?

They should. If you have them making web traps then they might not go near each other which is a new requirement for breeding, so you'll need to make sure to do that.

The answer for 0.34.11 is, yes, they can breed w/o being tamed. Horray more cave spiders!
