IC thread

Here's what I have so far, based off an old document I had floating in my google docs drive.  I do need something for the Majiin race and two for the Djinn to have things completed, but, as it stands, what do you think of it and what do you believe should be changed?

Racial Abilities
Frost Demon
Environmental Immunity - This race takes no damage from fighting in any environment, such as lack of oxygen, extreme heat or cold, or other hazards.
Extreme Durability - So long as an attack does not result in you taking more than 10 points of damage past 0, then you will still be alive and can be reconstructed.
Transformation: Power States - The Frost Demon race has four forms unlocked at the start.  The first Form takes the base Ki and multiplies it by .5, while multiplying Focus by 2.  The second Form takes the base Ki and multiplies it by .75 and multiplies Focus by 1.33.  The third Form takes the base ki and multiplies it by .9 and multiplies Focus by 1.11.  The Fourth Form takes the base ki and multiplies it by 20, but, untrained, focus is hit with a multiplier of .10.

Saiyan
Zenkai - If you drop below 10% health in combat, your power gets boosted to a point wherein your character can be competitive against the enemy they had fallen against, after they recover.  This ability is only able to increase the power of a Saiyan until they reach the point where they would become a Super Saiyan.
Saiyan Tail - As long as you have your tail, you have a 1.5 times multiplier to your Ki and Magic.  If the tail takes damage equal to 5% of your health, it is removed, and you lose the multiplier.  In addition, when you are under the full moon, you transform into the Great Ape state, where your Ki is multiplied by 10, but you are unable to control the state without training.
Transformation: Super Saiyan - The Super Saiyan state increases the Ki of the Saiyan in the state by 150000000.  The Ascended Super Saiyan State causes this increase to 1.5 as great, with Ultra being 2.5 to the Super Saiyan state, at a cost of 'a multiplier of .5 to focus.  The Mastered Super Saiyan state is an increase to the Super Saiyan state by a factor of 1.75.  The Super Saiyan 2 state is a multiplication of 2 to the bonus provided by the Super Saiyan state.  Past this is the Super Saiyan 3 state, which provides a multiply of 4 to the Super Saiyan 2 boost.

Human
Dragon’s Gift - Being from the planet where the Dragon Balls are most often used, this race has a multiplier of 1.5 to their side of the power equation when attacking or defending.
Dragon’s Wisdom - Being from the planet where the Dragon Balls are most often used, this race has a frightening ability to have techniques created by them to have a key portion of the creation multiplied by a factor of 2, allowing techniques to be created faster or more powerful with shorter charge times.
Indomitable - During times of crisis, the power of the strikes of humans can skyrocket and have them punch above their weight by, if below 10% health, pouring their own life energy into their attacks, for an addition to the Dragon's Gift multiplier equal to how much health is spent.

Namekian
Regeneration - Health regenerates at a rate of 1% per round of combat.
Fusion - Namekians are able to innately be able to fuse together, combining their power together into forming a greatly more powerful being.
Transformation: Giant Namek - Namekians are able to enter a form wherein their size grows massively and their power multiplies by a factor of 7.5 when untrained, or 10 when trained.

Majiin
Reconstitution: If you reach 0% health, but your enemy does not eliminate the individual pieces of your form, you can reconstitute without dying.  It should be noted that yours is not as strong as the original Majiin Buu's.
Absorption: Majiins are temporarily able to absorb one enemy and add their power and techniques to their own.  Unlike the progenitor of the race, Majiin Buu, only one being can be held inside a Majiin, and even then, only for the course of 5 rounds of combat before being released.
Division: An attack that would slice a Majiin into large pieces results in the Majiin able to have control of all pieces that contain over 20% of its mass, though until they reform, the pieces only run off of a portion of the Majiin's full power.

Djinn
Ki Devour - This race has the strange ability to devour Ki, nullifying damage from ranged Ki attacks if they are successful.
Extra-Dimensional Storage - This race has an innate ability to withdraw items from a pocket of space outside of space and time and return them to that dimension at any time.
Transformation: High Djinn - This race has an ability to transform into a state wherein their Ki and Mystic Abilities are combined together to act as their level of strength in both of these tasks.

The time it takes to create a technique is a period of three months, with the training of a technique equal in time to two months.  Created characters start with a total of 5 techniques.

Name: (Name of the technique)
Inventor: (Who created the technique)
Appearance: (What the technique looks like)
Type: (Ki or Mystic?)
Charge Time: (How long the technique needs to charge, in Time Units.  Minimum of 1 time unit.)
Effects: (In terms of damage, it is 1, with an additional per 5 Time Units (if this number is equal to the number of time units per round you have, it is active in the next round). A variety of other effects can be applied, though, such as a temporary boost to a strike.)
Exertion: (How much of your focus this technique uses when it is used.  Exertion is calculated by 1.5 points of exertion per power, with another 1 point per additional effect (ex. Kienzan's ability to automatically cut through things can far outclass it in power, to a point).  Non-damaging would vary, but in terms of constant it would be .5 per round and non-constant would be 1 point per effect.  In addition, there would be an additional .5 per 3 exertion applied to non-mastered techniques (in the case of character creation, it would be techniques 4 and 5.))

Ki Power Level
Determines damage taken and dealt by Ki attacks.  Basic Ki starts at 300, but Racial Multipliers, techniques, and training can raise or lower this statistic.  Training uses the formula of 1 times the gravity level per hour.

Mystic Affinity
Determines damage taken and dealt by Magic attacks.  Formulas for damage dealt and taken are the same as Ki Power Level’s formulas.  Basic Magic starts at a level of 300, but Racial Multipliers, techniques, and training can raise or lower this statistic.  Training uses the formula of 1 times meditation level/hour.  Meditation level is equal to 1 per 500 points in Mystic Affinity rounded down.

Health
Basic health is 50, but racial multipliers and traits, and various techniques can raise or lower this starting statistic.  When you reach 0% compared to your max health, you die.  Training increases this stat by a rate of 5 per week.

Inner Focus
This stat determines how long you are able to retain your focus in combat to exert attacks.  This increases by a rate of 1 per round of combat.  Reaching zero causes you to become knocked out.  This starts at 25, but can be raised or lowered by various racial traits or techniques.

Percentage of max health affects effective power level.
Effective Power Level affects Time units per round.
Time units per round affects attacks per round and accuracy.
Base time units result in 1 attack/round.  There is a gap of 4 time units between attacks.
You can be broken out of charge-ups.
Movement is 1 space per time unit.
Dodging can be declared against one technique at a cost of 2 time units to lower that technique's accuracy upon you.

What's a Frost Demon and what's a Djinn?

EDIT: Wait, with Frost Demons, are you talking about Frieza's Race? Another name I would suggest would be Arcosian. While I'm not that fond of it myself, it's a popular-enough fan name and it avoid confusion since there are actual demons in DBZ. Either that or go the Xenoverse route and have the race be known as Frieza's Race.

In canon, SS1 multiplies base power by 50, SS2 multiplies that effect by 2 (base power*100) and SS3 multiplies that effect by 4 (base power*400). Also, SS1 puts a strain onto the body until the form is mastered. SS2 and SS3 put even more strain on the body but as far as I know it's not possible to master SS2 and SS3.

Ascended Super Saiyan multiplies base power by 75 and Ultra Super Saiyan multiplies base power by 125 - making it more powerful than SS2 but decreases the speed of the user by a massive amount.

EDIT3: I don't recall there ever being any magical attacks in DBZ. Sure there was magic but I've never seen it used in combat. Could you refer me to a time when it was so I know what they'd look like? I mean, there was Majin Bu's candy ray but that's it.

If I recall correctly, training to become in control while in the Great Ape form wasn't possible. You were either born able or you weren't. Elites and Super-Elites such as Nappa and Vegeta were able to control the form but Commoners such as Kakarot and Bardock weren't. I'm not sure whether this is proscriptive or descriptive, though.

Something you may have missed is that grabbing a Saiyan's tail will absolutely wreck them. It basically puts them to sleep. This weakness can be trained out, though, as shown by Goku and as told by Nappa.

EDIT4: I think the Saiyan tail's power multiplier is too high. Maybe knock it down to 1.1 or 1.2?

I've seen that there is apparently some debate about whether it is an additive or multiplicative boost to power.  By having the boost multiplied, I wound up having SS3 land at Kid Buu's apparent level of power, whom Goku was able to take on.

Thanks for the numbers of Ascended and Ultra so I can adjust them to the proper point.

I'm going to leave it as is, but reduce the health required to remove it be a tad lower, making it more fragile for its boost.

Also, why do the Frost Demons have worse health, when their ability is about how durable they are? Just seemed a little strange to me.
